Quick Catch up

It's been a while since my last post and there's good reason for that, we've been super busy! It's certainly not a complaint but I thought it would be good to just bring you up to speed with what we have been doing.

Well it has been the summer of love so far with lot's of lovely couples exchanging their vows. Above is a picture of happiness with Michelle and Gary enjoying a tender moment during their pre wedding photo shoot around Ogden Water

This is great location for this kind of shoot as it's so open with lovely views in the background but also some nice quiet pathways to keep things more private. We've been very lucky with the weather recently and this shoot was no exception.

You don't need to go to any great lengths to get a beautiful photograph, mother nature helps out in a lot of our pictures. Keeping things natural is what we love especially when we are blessed to live in such a rural area. In this picture you can see it's not posed in any way. Just Michelle and Gary stealing a kiss as they take a stroll together.

Getting Roberts Park in Saltaire looking empty is quite a task as usually it is a very popular place for an afternoon out for families, however, Rachael and Ricky struck lucky for their pre wedding session. Here stood in the band stand taking it all in makes for a lovely shot with the dramatic red paint and lush trees in the background.

As you can see we like to take a step back when photograph our couple. Allowing you to be yourself just enjoying some alone time together is all we need to get a set of lovely pictures. Rick and Rachael share a quiet moment of contemplation together, something we rarely do in our busy lives.

Here on the bench surrounded by the beautifully tended gardens again makes for a lovely place to stop and relax.

So what follows a pre wedding shoot...a wedding!

Here's the moment we've been waiting for, Gary places the wedding band on Michelle's finger and it's smiles all round. This lovely couple chose The Great Victoria hotel in Bradford to celebrate their big day. We are used as their preferred suppliers for wedding photography so we know this location very well.

Michelle looked picture perfect in her lace cap sleeve fishtail gown and Gary looked handsome in his navy three piece suit. A lovely day and night was had by all. We wish you every happiness for the future!

Here Kirk can't quite contain his emotion as his beautiful bride Kirsty steps down the aisle.

They chose the Halfway House in Baildon for their special day. Set in the cosy marquee complete with twinkle lights, this is every bit the romantic setting to say your I Do's.

Surrounded by their family and friends Kirk and Kirsty enjoyed a wonderful day that went off without a hitch. It was such a pleasure to be part of this lovely couples day and to be made to feel so welcome.

As the sun goes down on another beautiful wedding here is where I will close. The next few months also has lot's in store so I will keep you posted in my next chapter.

In the meantime if you know someone that may be newly engaged or even would just like to have a photo session with us then just get in touch on the contact us section or visit us on our Facebook page.
