Joanne & Jason got Married at the Midland Hotel Bradford in May this year.
We first met when we had arranged to meet up at the Midland Hotel to discuss the wedding day and to look around the venue for ideal spots to take some great photos. At this point, we organised a pre-wedding shoot at Lister Park in Bradford.
On the day of the meeting for the pre-wedding shoot, it was a little chilly as we were just towards the back end of winter, so we were all wrapped up.
It was early in the morning and cold, so there weren't a lot of people around, which was great and saved me the big task of removing stray people in post-processing.
Cartwright Hall is beautiful inside, but it's also a great opportunity to get a nice photo of Joanne & Jason outside.
I like to be creative with photos, and I needed the tripod for the above photo which I had left in the car. So a handy wall assisted me while getting the above clone photo.
This was a great place to get photos the grounds are always well kept.
So onto the wedding which was at The Midland Hotel in the centre of Bradford. This is a Victorian hotel, built in 1885 and is a Grade 2 listed building. Good Choice Joanne and Jason.
This is a beautiful ballroom with high ceilings and a grand chandelier. The room is bright and is ideal for lots of wedding guests.
Joanne looked amazing in her flowing wedding dress, Jason scrubs up well too as you can see.
After the wedding we got a full group shot on the large staircase and then smaller group shots. There are a lot of lovely little places to get some nice photos in the Midland Hotel.
So the weather was good enough to go back to Lister Park where we had the pre-wedding shoot, this time on the big day. It was a lot busier on this day in Lister Park as there was a festival of some description happening, but it didn't phase the newlyweds.
As you can see it was a brilliantly sunny day and we managed to get a few spots where they wasn't alot of people about.
We decided to go for the multiple Joanna and Jason shots again, I love doing this. I had to do some removal of people in this above photo just to make it look like they had the park to themselves.
I have to say, Jason is a really funny man. I had to remain professional throughout the day, but he did make me laugh.
For me, this was a fantastic day with a brilliant couple who were really fun to work with.
I wish you both many years of fun and happiness. Thank you, Joanne & Jason, for letting me be there to capture your perfect wedding day.
